In anticipation of Halloween, Toys"R"Us stores in the U.S. are opening up in-store "boo"tiques featuring a wide assortments of costumes, safety products and more.

The Halloween offerings, also available at Toysrus.com, include a number of licensed character costumes from properties such as Disney's Toy Story and Princesses, HIT Entertainment's Thomas & Friends, Saban Brands' Power Rangers and Marvel's Batman and Wonder Woman. In addition, TRU and Disney have created exclusive costumes to support the Children Affected by AIDS Foundation, including Ariel from

The Little Mermaid,

Aurora from

Sleeping Beauty,

Belle from

Beauty and the Beast,

Jasmine from

Aladdin,

Cinderella and Snow White. TRU and Disney have given CAAF a joint contribution of $50,000.

"Toys"R"Us has unique insights into the characters that kids most want to transform into on Halloween, whether it is Barbie and Iron Man or more classic themes like adorable animals and princesses," says Karen Dodge, senior vice president and chief

merchandising officer at Toys"R"Us.

The "boo"tiques also offer a wide range of Halloween safety items, including light-up lanterns, headbands and candy buckets; glow necklaces, bracelets and masks; reflectors; and flashlights. At Toysrus.com, shoppers can find a digital costume catalog, showcasing costumes and accessories available in stores and online. Halloween safety tips are also available online.
