The Licensing Company has appointed Andrew Waller as director of fashion and brand licensing for the U.K. in a move to expand its fashion business.

Waller joins TLC after several years managing brands and buying on behalf of TK Maxx, Austin Reed and, most recently, Tesco U.K., where he was buying manager for direct clothing.

Waller is TLC’s second recent hire from the retail world, following the addition of Will Stewart who joined TLC earlier this year from John Lewis, taking on the role of director in TLC’s home division.

Both Waller and Stewart will work with U.K. retailers to create branded apparel and home collections.
