Sonic to Appear on Belgian Stamps

Sega has signed a deal with Belgium’s bpost, which will use Sonic the Hedgehog and other characters from the video games on its Duostamp. The stamps will be distributed through bpost's e-shop, post offices and other outlets. The stamps are launching

The stamps are launching Monday, and will carry images of Sonic, Tails, Shadow and Amy, for a total of five designs. The stamps also feature the 20th anniversary logo for Sonic the Hedgehog.

"We’re delighted to team up with bpost to create official Sonic stamps," says Sissel Henno, Sega’s head of brand licensing Europe. "Sonic has already proven himself as a hot property for collectors and I’m sure that people of all ages will enjoy collecting these official Sonic stamps with unique 20th anniversary branding."
