In celebration of Licensing International Expo's 30th anniversary, It's Happy Bunny designer and longtime show exhibitor Jim Benton has been commissioned to design a commemorative poster.

"We are very excited that Jim, along with CopCorp Licensing, is helping us celebrate 30 years," says Liz Crawford, show director, Licensing International Expo. "With his talent and fun commentary, it's a great way to not only celebrate our show, but the industry, and give back to our charities of choice."

Licensing International Expo began in 1980 and has since grown from a small gathering of a few hundred attendees to an international event that draws more than 18,000 licensing professionals from around the world.

Benton started his career designing his own characters and doing illustrations and artwork for magazines and newspapers. His characters now appear on everything from apparel to stationery to automotive and home décor. Benton's It's Happy Bunny line has generated nearly $750 million at retail. In

addition to being a five-time LIMA award winner, Benton has published many bestselling books, including his "Dear Dumb Diary" series and books featuring the original It's Happy Bunny and Franny K. Stein characters.

The 30th anniversary posters will be sold exclusively at the 2010 show and the proceeds will benefit K.I.D.S. and the Children's Brain Tumor Foundation.
