, an international focus was top priority. Inside, you'll read about a handful of successful licensors who launched their art-based programs internationally. As one might imagine, they had to overcome many obstacles along the way. Their advice to emerging artists: Learn from those who have gone before you. That's why they've graciously agreed to share their insight and offer some helpful tips on taking an art-based property overseas.

A host of emerging artists will be showcasing their work for the first time at Licensing International. Turn to page A10 for a preview of who will be at the show and a sneak peek of the trends and themes they're focusing on. Booth numbers are included along with brief descriptions of each artist's work, so locating these new artists should be an easy feat.
