Disney has announced that it will air two new Marvel animated series next summer on the Marvel Universe programming block of the Disney XD cable channel.
“Marvel’s Avengers Assemble” will be based on the blockbuster movie
Marvel’s The Avengers
and feature Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Falcon.
“Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.” will star Marvel’s hard-hitting superhero Hulk alongside his cousin She-Hulk, as well as Red Hulk, A-Bomb and Skaar.
Both series are currently in production and slated to premiere in summer 2013.
