The Jim Henson Company has appointed a new licensing agent for its property, Dinosaur Train, in the G/A/S region.
Lizenzweft will represent the animated children’s series in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
“The Dinosaur Train characters resonate with young viewers who are eager to interact with the property through a multitude of products and platforms,” says Melissa Segal, senior vice president, global consumer products, The Jim Henson Company. “Peter Bichler and Dirk Wullenweber at Lizenzwerft share our passion for the charming characters and enchanting storylines that Dinosaur Train has become known for and will look to extend the brand while also ensuring its longevity in the marketplace.”
“Lizenzwerft has over 20 years of experience in the licensing business with a solid network of manufacturers, retailers and other key decision makers throughout Germany,” says Bichler, managing director and co-founder, Lizenzwerft. “We have many creative ideas for how to extend the Dinosaur Train brand across our country.”
Other products are already set to enter the region in spring of next year as TOMY launches its toy line at retail.
