Eric Hirshberg was appointed to chief executive officer of Activision Blizzard's publishing division effective Sept. 7. He replaces Mike Griffith, now vice chairman of Activision Blizzard.
Hirshberg previously served as chief executive officer of marketing and advertising agency Deutsch LA. In his new role at Activision Publishing, he will report to Thomas Tippl, chief operating officer.
