Chorion has unveiled a fashion collection exclusively at Licensing International Expo, which stars Little Miss Sunshine from its Mr. Men and Little Miss brand. The line is aimed at teens and young adult women and is due to launch in spring 2011.

It has been developed in collaboration with Watermelon Europe and will launch in the U.S. with PR and marketing support before expanding into the U.K., France, Australia and Japan.

“Little Miss Sunshine is our star and has been incredibly successful across our product line, especially T-shirts and accessories,” says Tamra Knepfer, executive vice president of brand management and marketing at Chorion. “We are excited to have partnered with Watermelon Europe to put her in the spotlight with fresh, fashion-forward designs that bring Little Miss Sunshine’s iconic personality and humor to life in an inspired and trend-right collection.” 

Designs draw on the fun, humor and evergreen appeal of Little Miss Sunshine with trapeze shape tees, turn-up shorts and

retro gym bags. Graphics range from fresh-look vintage to large-scale prints and “summer of love” designs, with a color scheme of pastel pinks, turquoise and lemons pitched to reflect a spring/summer palette.
