Fox International Channels’ BabyTV has appointed Fox Licensing & Merchandising, the new business unit launched by Fox Latin American Channels, to oversee the execution of BabyTV’s international consumer products and retail strategy across Latin America.
The new division will build on the brand’s existing partnerships with Ansaldo and Partyexpress Chile, as well as the property's licensing agent in the region P&L Global. In addition, BabyTV has signed up Character Mix SRL as licensing agent for Argentina and Uruguay.
Fox L&M will focus on consumer products development to increase the brand’s retail presence in the coming year across home video, toys, publishing and other product categories relevant for infants and toddlers. A first round of products including baby toys such as baby gym, soft books and soft musical toys will launch next year.
