A tween-targeted, CGI-animated series based on the "Grim Hill" book series is in development through producer Wizard Hat Productions.
Wizard Hat is on board to produce 26x30 episodes for the book series by Linda Demeulemeester and published by Canada-based Lobster Press.
"'Grim Hill' has attracted legions of fans who have been asking for a TV show based on the popular books, and we're looking forward to bringing the adventures of Cat, Sookie, Jasper and Clive to life on air," says Pam Slavin, partner and executive producer at Wizard Hat.
The first "Grim Hill" book was first published in 2007 and now includes five titles. The series follows teens against magical creatures in the town of Grim Hill, combining Celtic myth, adventure and humor.
