Virgin megastores have created two new in-store concepts—a Rock Band 2 pop-up in the Times Square store in a deal with MTV Games and Beatles Boutiques with Signatures Network in all U.S. stores.

The 550-foot Rock Band 2 store, located inside the café of the Times Square Virgin megastore, features a complete selection of the video game's merchandise, kiosks and displays. Coinciding with the video game release of Rock Band 2, the concept carries Rock Band 2 software, hardware, accessories, apparel items and an in-store mini-performance area for customers.

All across U.S. Virgin megastores, consumers may visit Beatle Boutiques, which offer a comprehensive collection of hats, bags, lunchboxes, glassware, posters, buttons, stationery, books, CDs and DVDs, accessories, books, CDs and DVDs in specially designed mini-stores.

Each megastore has dedicated prime real estate to create the Beatles Boutiques. The shops will include exclusive fashion items from vendors such as Junkfood, Trunk Ltd., Mighty

Fine and Signatures.
