Tesco, the U.K.'s biggest retailer, is eyeing expansion in China with plans to invest £2 billion ($3 billion) on new shopping malls and quadruple sales in China over the next five years.
The retailer aims to more than double the number of hypermarkets in China to more than 200 over the next five years, similar to the number of Tesco Extra hypermarkets it operates in the U.K.
