A Squared Entertainment announced that Steven Banks has joined Arnold Schwarzenegger’s animated series “The Governator” as head writer. The property from A Squared, Stan Lee’s POW! and Archie Comics will have its TV debut next year.
The Emmy-nominated Banks was head writer of “SpongeBob Squarepants” for six years, and previously wrote for Nickelodeon’s “The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius.”
The series marks Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s return to entertainment. The multiplatform entertainment property includes a television series, 3D movie, comic book series and consumer products program.
