Millimages has appointed Sweden-based agent Early Bird Licensing to manage its property Mouk in the Nordic countries, adding to a growing roster of licensing representatives for the brand.“We are very pleased to represent Mouk. It is such a lovely and likeable property,” says Louise Lindquist, partner, Early Bird Licensing. “Aside from being a great, high-quality TV series for preschoolers, the artwork and design is absolutely gorgeous and highly suitable for a number of product categories even outside the core target group.”
Last week Atlantyca Entertainment was announced as the exclusive licensing agent for the property in Italy.
The animated preschool series “Mouk” is produced by Millimages and is based on the books by Marc Boutavant.
Mouk is commissioned by France Télévisions and Disney Channel U.K., and was recently acquired by ABC TV. The show was selected as one of the finalists of the Licensing Challenge at MIPCOM Junior.
