Mike the Knight’ Conquers Four Territories
HIT Entertainment has pre-sold its new pre-school animation, “Mike the Knight,” to four more territories: ABC Australia, SVT Sweden, DRTV Denmark and NRK in Norway. Existing partners include Treehouse in Canada, TF1 in France and CBeebies in the U.K.
Disney Junior Acquires ‘Guess How Much I Love You’
Disney Junior picked up the preschool animated series “Guess How Much I Love You - The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare” for broadcast in the U.S. The series has already been confirmed for broadcast with Disney Channel Australia and New Zealand and has secured sales in Germany, Australia, Canada, Finland and Sweden.
Rainbow Announces Russian Deal
Rainbow is pleased to announce a major deal with Russian broadcaster CTC for its properties Winx Club and PopPixie. The deal is a direct result of the Winx’s position as the No.1 girls property in Russia.
Zodiak Rights Signs Little Princess Deals
Zodiak Kids concluded a number of television deals for its preschool property “Little Princess.” The series has been acquired by: ABC TV Australia; Discovery Latin America; ATV for Hong Kong; DR1 in Denmark, Thai PBS, Czech TV, TVO Canada and RUV Iceland.
