Madonna Opens Second Gym

The gym’s opening falls on the one-year anniversary of the Hard Candy Mexico City location. The four-floor, 35,000-square-foot is operated by Irina Razmuova, founder of the Russia-based Planet Fitness chain.

The gym features signature classes, state of the art equipment, a bike studio, a juice bar/café, locker rooms and a 25-meter pool. Hard Candy Fitness employees will also sport the latest adidas by Stella McCartney and Porsche Designs attire from the winter 2011-2012 adidas collection.

A third Hard Candy Fitness location is set to open next spring in St. Petersburg, Russia. Plans are also under way for a location in Toronto, opening in 2012, with expansion plans for Italy, the U.K., France, Australia, Argentina and Brazil.
