At the same time, Chorion will unveil a new style guide for the brand, featuring new patterns, character poses, packaging and seasonal artwork. A new pre-school animated series will air on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. next year, featuring Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny. Next year also marks the 110th anniversary of the first publication of “The Tale of Peter Rabbit,” which will be supported by special anniversary book titles.
“Beatrix Potter is one of our key classic brands and we are excited to be refreshing the style guide as well as introducing new products and concepts into the market place,” says Bettina Koeckler, senior vice president of licensing at Chorion for Europe, the Middle East and the Americas. “We know that the brand is much loved and we look forward to also introducing the characters to a new audience.”
