Rovio plans to debut a free Eagles-themed Angry Birds game next week as the 2012/2013 football season kicks off and will release a new level for the game at the beginning of each week throughout the season.
The Philadelphia Eagles and Rovio announced their partnership in June, marking the first time Rovio has teamed up with a professional sports franchise.
In conjunction with the launch of the Facebook game, the Eagles will host a Back-to-Football event at Love Park in Philadelphia Sept. 4 that will include players, cheerleaders and a real-life version of the Angry Birds game inspired by the K'Nex toy line.
