‘Paw Patrol’ Expands Consumer Products Presence
Spin Master and Viacom Nickelodeon Consumer Products have announced new license partners for the children’s animated series.

Spin Master and Viacom Nickelodeon Consumer Products have announced new licensees for children’s animated series “Paw Patrol” in the toys, publishing and consumer packaged goods space.

In the toy’s category, VNCP and Spin Master have renewed agreements for the franchise with toy partners Basic Fun (novelty toys), VTECH (early learning aides), Build-A-Bear (plush) and Jakks (outdoor play, kids’ furniture and novelty toys).

For CPG, Danone has re-upped its partnership on the property across Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and other Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries through 2020. In Australia, new deals were also signed for “Paw Patrol” with healthcare and baby manufacturing company, Unicharm.

Finally, in Publishing, VNCP has extended deals with Lake Press for “PAW Patrol” storybooks, color, activity and novelty books in Australia and New Zealand.

“The ‘Paw Patrol’ franchise continues to go from strength to strength,” said Mark Kingston, Senior Vice President, International Licensing, VNCP. “We are constantly keeping ‘Paw Patrol’ fresh by expanding the universe with new story themes and characters, and we are extending the franchise across new platforms, retail aisles and live experiences. In licensing, our many renewals across multiple categories will allow us to bring more innovative product to ‘Paw’ fans around the world.”

“PAW Patrol” is currently being featured at the VNCP booth at Brand Licensing Europe, stand B160.

The announced deals come following a recent partnership for exclusive “Paw Patrol” products from Walmart.
