Batman
characters when an 18,000-square-foot multifaceted restaurant and bar opens in Soho, London later this year.
The basement venue will be comprised of five restaurants and three bars and will be called “Park Row,” named after the area of Gotham City where Bruce Wayne’s parents were killed in the
Batman
comics.
The restaurant will make several references to the
Batman
universe including a Harley Quinn-inspired omakase restaurant, a cocktail bar called Old Gotham City, a lounge inspired by the villain Penguin and a space called Pennyworth’s, named after Bruce Wayne’s butler, Alfred. A fine-dining restaurant called The Monarch Theatre will also open in the building.
To launch the restaurant, Warner Bros. teamed with newly created Wonderland Restaurants group.
“We are delighted to partner with Warner Bros. to create their first immersive DC-inspired gastronomic restaurant experience found anywhere
“Trends in our sector are moving toward fun, immersive and experiential dining, and our aim is to demonstrate this on a grand scale with exceptional food and drink to match. I am still a child at heart, inspired by the greatest stories and storytellers. For me, great food experiences are about unlocking guests’ emotions and creating edible memories.”
The restaurant will launch under Wonderland Restaurants group and will be overseen by group executive chef Cláudio Cardos, former group executive chef of Sushisamba, and creative director Mike Bagale, former executive chef of Alinea, a three Michelin-starred restaurant in Chicago.
Prices will range from £45- £120 per person, depending on what area of the restaurant patrons dine in.
