The Jim Henson Company has appointed Shane Mang to the role of executive director of global consumer products.

In his new role, Mang will lead all licensing activities for the company’s portfolio of children’s brands, classic franchises and yet-to-be-announced properties. 

Most recently, Mang served as the business development manager of the Americas at DHX Media, where he managed a portfolio that included “Caillou,” “ Teletubbies” and more. He also served as manager of licensing and distribution at Nerd Corps Entertainment.
