The show, which is owned by United Artist Media Group, will air its new season beginning May 26 with comedian Jeff Foxworthy returning as host.
First launched in 2007, the game show, which challenges adults to test their grammar school knowledge, ran for three seasons on Fox. Brand Central represented the series for its initial run and helped generate more than $175 million in retail sales over the course of the partnership with a program that boasted toys, games and more.
Now, for the show’s re-launch, Brand Central has built a cohesive consumer products program that will encompass toys, games, publishing and educational products.
“We’re thrilled to continue our relationship with the franchise ‘Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?' and the team at UAMG,” says Ross Misher, chief executive officer, Brand
Central. "With the great success of the consumer products program the first time around, we are confident the property will resonate with a whole new generation of fans and consumers.”Subscribe and receive the latest news from the industry.
