'Beat Bugs' Dances into Kids' Gyms

My Gym to highlight The Beatles-inspired TV series at locations in four countries.

Centa IP has teamed up with My Gym to feature the Beatles-inspired animated series “Beat Bugs” in a variety of activations at locations in the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Australia this summer.

During the months of June and July, children who attend classes at My Gym will have the opportunity to experience music from the series as well as branded games and other activites, such as coloring sheets and puppet shows.

“Studies show that childhood obesity has doubled in the last two decades, with 10 percent of all children between the ages of 2 to 5 in the U.S. already overweight,” says Matt Hendison, executive vice president, sponsor and strategic sponsorships, My Gym. “As a music-based property with such deep roots, ‘Beat Bugs’ blends into the curriculum flawlessly. Not to mention that we are also honored to help introduce a new generation to the greatest band in rock history.”

Currently airing on Netflix, “Beat Bugs” revolves around the lives and adventures of five best friends–charming and funny childlike bugs who explore and learn in their suburban backyard home. Each episode ties into a The Beatles song in an innocent and child-friendly fashion.
