In Japan, AGP and its regional licensing agent MindWorks Entertainment, have added two new apparel partners for the Care Bears brand, Wakaba and Minoya. Wakaba is planning a line of classic and retro Care Bears t-shirts, while Minoya will introduce women’s socks, foot covers, leggings and warmers. Both lines will be available at department and specialty stores nationwide.
In Thailand, AGP and local licensing agent Medialink have signed two new licensees for Strawberry Shortcake. MT Favourgift is developed stationery and back-to-school ranges, and Pong Intouch will expand its current apparel and accessories offerings to include baby apparel.
Finally, in Australia and New Zealand, AGP is planning a series of Strawberry Shortcake live events in partnership with The Entertainment Store. The deal, which was negotiated in partnershipwith AGP’s regional licensing agent Merchantwise, will see The Entertainment Store develop a variety of character experiences for retail venues in both countries.
