Teddy Mountain, the “make-a-bear” activity specialists, has teamed up with national charity, the  National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC), to raise awareness of its “Talk PANTS” initiative. The NSPCC’s Pantosaurus is a bright yellow dinosaur created to help with the initiative, to help keep children safe from sexual abuse.

The bear will be available for groups, schools, clubs and visitor destinations to help them raise both funds and awareness for the NSPCC.

“Partnering with Teddy Mountain brings a unique opportunity for children and parents/carers to play together and build their own amazing pant-wearing dinosaur,” says Denise Deane, owner, Edutainment Licensing. “As well as being great fun, it is also a perfect starting point to help support children to recognize what abuse is and how they can speak up.”

“Most children will have a cuddly toy that they adore and are rarely seen without, so it makes perfect sense to be able to give them their very own Pantosaurus plush,” says Tom Crompton, head, character commercialization, NSPCC. “Our Talk PANTS rule helps children to understand that their body belongs to them and what they should do if they feel upset or worried. Hopefully, having Pantosaurus close to them will help them to know what to do if they are ever concerned about inappropriate behavior. We can’t wait to get our paws on our very own Pantosaurus bear.”
