For MIPTV, Toei has unveiled four new series–Butt Detective,” a comedy for children ages 3-12; “Bakutsuri Bar Hunter,” supernatural series; “Ge Ge Ge No Kitaro,” a supernatural series set to debut April 1 in Japan; and “Saint Seiya: Saintia Sho,” the third installment in the “Saint Seiya” franchise.
The company has also partnered with broadcasters across EMEA for its animated action series “Dragon Ball Super” including Cartoon Network in Italy, Toonami in Africa, LNK and TV1 in Lithuania, Viasat 6 in Hungary, AXN in Moldavia and AXN Black in Romania.
Toei Animation has also announced an animated feature film that will serve as the sequel to the series after its final episode. The film is currently in production with its Japanese release planned for Dec. 14.
Toei will also release the conclusion of its “Digimon Tri” series.
