Bulldog and m4e to serve as sub-agents for the brand as it makes its European debut.

Viz Media Europe has appointed two new regional agencies to represent the Japanese brand "Yo-Kai Watch," which is readying for its European debut.

Bulldog Licensing has signed on to represent the brand in the U.K. and m4e will take on the brand in all German-speaking territories including G/A/S.

“It’s not often you see this level of excitement surrounding a show that hasn’t even screened yet, but 'Yo-Kai Watch' is set to be huge," says Rob Corney, managing director, Bulldog Group. "For the first time in my career, we were seeing deal proposals coming in before we’d even pitched the brand. We’re expecting to release on initial deals any time soon, so watch this space.” 

The series follows an average boy, Nate, who gets a special watch that empower him to discover mysterious beings called Yo-Kai, which cause little nuisances in daily life. Nate’s ongoing quest is to find out the reason for the Yo-Kai’s mischievous behavior and talk them out of it. The brand and its global licensing program are

Global master toy licensee Hasbro has unveiled details of its product line, which will hit shelves in 2016. Among the products featured in the line is an actual Yo-Kai watch and accompanying Yo-Kai medallions, as well a medallion collecting book, figures and plush.
