Stockholm-based children’s museum Junibacken has teamed with Moomin Characters and its agent Bulls Licensing to donate all of this weekend’s ticket proceeds to the Red Cross in aid of refugees.
"Our ambition is to, in the spirit of [Moomin creator] Tove Jansson, help where help is needed," says Gustav Melin, licensing director, Bulls Licensing. "It felt natural for us to contribute to the Red Cross in this moment of crisis. The initiative is welcomed by the staff and management, all deeply affected by the refugee situation."
Melin will join Moomin Characters director Sophia Jansson, in giving the
keynote address at Brand Licensing Europe
Oct. 14.
