Creepy Crawlers to Slither into Theatres
Paramount Players, a division of Paramount Pictures, has acquired the feature film rights to Jakks Pacific’s Creepy Crawlers toy brand.
“Creepy Crawlers has been an iconic brand since the 1960s and we are honored to work with Neal Moritz, Paramount Players, and the Nickelodeon-Viacom Family in bringing it to life on the big screen,” says Stephen Berman, chairman & chief executive officer, JAKKS Pacific. “We, and the studio, envision the property to be developed into a family adventure film in the vein of Jumanji.”
Production of the film is subject to the conclusion of the agreement.
