Planeta Junior Features 'Maya,' 'Wizard'

"Maya the Bee in 3D," a Studio100 production, co-financed by Planeta Junior, will debut next year and is supported by a robust licensing program; and "The Wizard of Oz," a new series of Frank Baum’s classic, began with the Planeta Group participating as a co-producer.

The company will also preview the properties that it has in pre-production: "Egyxos," "Magiki" and "Trullalleri."

"The company will continue promoting its traditional agent and distributor business, in which we are already a Europe-wide leader, but we are now diversifying our activity to undertake production of animated films and programs, which allows us to increase our portfolio of licenses and carry out major international projects," says Ignacio Segura, general manager of Planeta Junior.
