The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has unveiled two officially licensed Kentucky Derby 150th Anniversary Bobbles ahead of the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby on Saturday.
The Churchill Downs Twin Spires Bobble is the first bobble to incorporate the iconic Twin Spires, with both spires bobbing. The limited-edition collectible features the grandstand filled with fans behind the track. The sign above the grandstand includes the years of the first Derby (1875) and the 150th Derby on Saturday. The base and back of the bobblehead feature the Kentucky Derby 150th Anniversary logo.

Considered in the U.S. “the greatest two minutes in sports,” a field of 22 3-year-old thoroughbreds are entered to compete in the historic 1-1/4-mile Kentucky Derby, which is now held annually on the first Saturday in May.
On May 17, 1875, in front of an estimated crowd of 10,000 people, a field of 15 three-year-old horses contested the first Kentucky Derby.
“We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby to offer sports fans across the world the opportunity to commemorate the historic 150th running of the Kentucky Derby with two special edition bobbles,” says Phil Sklar, co-founder, chief executive officer, National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum. “We think fans will love these limited-edition collectibles celebrating the historic Churchill Downs Twin Spires and the 150th Kentucky Derby.”
