GLOBAL–Publishing company Meredith Corporation has entered into a binding agreement with U.K. private equity firm Epiris to sell Time Inc. U.K.
In January, Meredith acquired Time Inc. U.K. as a part of the larger Time Inc. acquisition. Time Inc. had been in the process of selling its U.K. arm prior to the acquisition.
With a heritage of more than 165 years, Time Inc. U.K.’s portfolio includes
Marie Claire U.K.
Country Life
,
What's on TV
,
Woman's Weekly
and
Wallpaper
, which operate across print, online, mobile, TV and experiences.
The transaction is expected to close at the end of the first quarter. Financial details were not disclosed.
