Kids2 and Ford have partnered to release a baby walker inspired by the Ford Mustang convertible.
Ford and Kids2’s latest offering is the newest addition to the Bright Starts Ford Walker family. It is designed to handle babies’ steps starting at six-months-old. The Pink Ford Mustang 3 Ways to Play Walker offers two different walker modes that adjust to different baby heights.
“There are few cars on the road that are as instantly recognizable as the Ford Mustang, and it’s exciting to see the iconic car’s combination of design and heritage come through in this walker,” says Meryl Macune, senior vice president, global marketing, Kids2. “We can’t wait to see the joy on little faces when they take a ride in the Pink Ford Mustang.”
Young drivers can also detach the walker’s dashboard to use the walker as a toy car. Car mode features authentic Ford Mustang sounds, light-up ignition, gear shifter and steering wheel.
“The Ford Mustang is one of the most iconic, symbolic cars in American history–and we jumped at the chance to bring this fan-favorite muscle car to life for babies to enjoy,” says Franco Lodato, senior vice president, global design and innovation, Kids2.
The Pink Ford Mustang 3 Ways to Play Walker is available now at Walmart stores in the United States and will be at other U.S. retailers later this year. The product marks another toy that got the Mustang treatment. Lego and Ford recently partnered on a model set inspired by the classic American muscle car.
