The newly revived Valiant Comics has announced that it will sponsor the U.S. luge team for the 2014 Winter Olympics and released plans for a uniform design based on its X-O Manowar character.
The team’s uniform design will be based on the orange-and-white clad character that starred in the comic book publisher’s comeback title
X-O Manowar
, which was released in May.
Valiant Comics reestablished themselves in the comic book market earlier this year after a 15-year absence from the scene.
The U.S. luge team will appear in their X-O Manowar-inspired uniforms in February 2014 when the Winter Olympics take place in Sochi, Russia.
