Oxford Limited, licensor for the University of Oxford brand, has partnered with Halo to launch The Oxford Collection, a line of hand crafted furniture and decorative furnishings. The collection debuts at the Maison & Objet show in Paris, Sept. 9-13.
Halo has produced several ranges from living, home office, dining and occasional pieces, to wall art, travel and sporting goods. Each range is named after renowned alumni such as Pitt-Rivers (trunks), Radcliffe (home office) and Rhodes (luggage); or Oxford campus locations such as Bodleian (library) and Senior Common Room (living).
“The launch of The Oxford Collection marks a significant development for the Oxford brand and licensing program," says Chris Evans, managing director of Oxford Limited. “I’m delighted that Halo will debut and showcase this beautifully hand-crafted collection at Maison & Objet in Paris; a prestigious platform that will generate great exposure and opportunity for the Oxford brand in other home and living licensing categories.”
“We are excited by this new partnership with Oxford Limited and proud to be associated to the University of Oxford and its rich nine-century old history and archives that will be an endless source of inspiration for the collection in the years to come," says Serge Gander, managing director of Halo Licensing.
