Nintendo is the latest partner signed on to bring the hit Japanese brand "Yo-Kai Watch" to the U.S., with an upcoming video game for its 3DS platform.
In Japan, "Yo-Kai Watch" video games accounted for three of the six best-selling console and hand-held games in the country for 2014.
An animated series will debut on Disney XD and other Disney XD-branded platforms this fall. At the same time Viz Media’s Perfect Square imprint will launch manga in the U.S. and then in January, Hasbro will release its toy line for the brand.
