EA Adds Brazil Teams to 'FIFA 16'

Electronic Arts is adding 16 Brazilian football teams to its video game "FIFA 16," which is set to be released later this month.

EA Adds Brazil Teams to 'FIFA 16'

Atlético-MG, Cruzeiro and São Paulo among the clubs added to the video game.

Among the teams that will be included are Atlético-MG, Atlético-PR, Avaí, Coritiba, Chapecoense, Cruzeiro, Figueirense, Fluminense, Grêmio, Internacional, Joinville, Ponte Preta, Palmeiras, Santos, São Paulo et Vasco da Gama.

Team marks and jerseys will be available immediately in-game, with certain players available via an online update.

"FIFA 16" will launch Sept. 22 in North America and Sept. 24 in Europe.

"We tried to create the best possible gaming experience for fans in Brazil, and in the world, and that's why we wanted to present these Brazilian teams," says Jonathan Harris, chief executive officer, EA, Brazil.
