GameStop has revealed plans to close at least 150 of its 7,500 stores worldwide.
The announcement follows GameStop’s Q4 sales, which fell 13.6 percent to $3.05 billion from a year ago. GameStop attributed this to weak sales of certain blockbuster video games during the holiday season as well as “aggressive console promotions” from other retailers.
Additionally, GameStop will open 65 Technology Brand stores and 35 Collectibles stores.
