His career has seen him work as a business unit technical lead, capture manager and principal investigator for as much as $10 million R&D efforts at several major defense contractors. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego, in the field of signal & image processing, where he was also a researcher in the Video Processing Lab.
