Russian media companies Noviy Disk and Marmelad Media have acquired all media and merchandising rights to the TV series and licensing brand, "Dibo: The Gift Dragon," for the Russian market, from Telescreen, a subsidiary of the Grünwald-based m4e.

Russian-based Noviy Disk will be responsible for the TV and home entertainment sectors (including video on-demand). Marmelad Media, a Russian brand management company, will create a comprehensive program of merchandising products. Marmelad Media became well-known in Russia for its "Gogoriki" ("Smeshariki") animated series that the company produced and marketed beyond Russia's borders.

"Dibo: The Gift Dragon" is made by the Korean studio Ocon Animation for children ages 2 to 6 and features a purple dragon called Dibo, who makes wishes and dreams come true with gifts.
