Penguin Ventures has tapped a variety of partners to assist in the 40th-anniversary celebration of its classic literary character Spot, which will take place in 2020.

Penguin’s Spot Jumps into Anniversary Deals

Rainbow Designs, a gift and toy licensee, has signed on for plush, sensory toys, wooden blocks, pull-along toys and more inspired by the revamped Spot style guide developed by Penguin Ventures early this year.

“Penguin Ventures has a long-standing and very successful relationship with Rainbow Designs across their portfolio of brands and I am thrilled that they have come on board for Spot,” says Anna Metcalfe, category manager, hardlines, Penguin Ventures. Rainbow’s products are consistent of excellent quality and highly innovative in design and we are excited to see the range that they develop in time for Spot 40th anniversary in 2020.”

to develop a new stage adaption of “Spot” in Australia.

The “Spot” show will tour Australia in August 2019 and will move to New Zealand in 2020.
