While the search for new content for the ever-growing range of multimedia outlets continues to grow, some companies have found a way to fill that void: old content. Disney announced Friday that it would begin airing its classic TV shows on the Internet. The studio is following in the footsteps of networks such as CBS and NBC, which both said last month that they would be putting older TV series such as “McGyver” and “Miami Vice” online with advertiser support.
