Spain's Martomagic has partnered with Jonic Distribution to exclusively promote and distribute the upcoming series of Gogo's Crazy Bones in North America.
Jonic is on board to grow the brand across the U.S. and Canada through a television ad campaign and a sampling program of up to 5 million packs to be given away. In addition, a marketing campaign will include feature content on social networking sites and a PR agent will be appointed to support retailers and licensees. Joy Tashjian Marketing Group represents Gogo's in North America.
The collectibles range, produced by Magic Box International and PPI Worldwide Group, launched in the U.S. in 2009. In North America, the toys are sold in packets containing three figures and stickers, as well as in five packs, collector's tins and rare figure sets.
The toys are also available in the U.K., Spain, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, South Africa and Australia/New Zealand. Recent launches include The Nordics and Italy. More than 250 million Gogo's have been sold worldwide and the property has more than 40 licensing partners.
