More than 320 Rebecca Bonbon products are expected to hit Sears and Kmart stores in August. FremantleMedia Enterprises recently signed a direct-to-retail deal with Sears Holdings for distribution in the U.S. and Canada.

The Rebecca Bonbon merchandise will be ready for back-to-school and will include apparel, outerwear, headwear, accessories, bags, cosmetics, sleepwear, home décor, plush and pet products.

A long-term strategy is also in the works for more product launches for holiday 2010 and spring 2011.

"We are thrilled to work with FremantleMedia Enterprises on the Rebecca Bonbon collections," says John Goodman, executive vice president of apparel and home fashions, Sears Holdings. "We see the launch of this global brand as a strong statement on our commitment to provide relevance and key fashion to a young consumer. The products are unique in the market as well as trendy and broadly appealing."

Rebecca Bonbon first launched in Japan and has more than 50 licensees in apparel, accessories,

swimwear, intimate apparel, electronics, stationery, posters, greeting cards, bedding, bags and digital and mobile content. In 2008, FME acquired the exclusive rights from Crown Creative and represents the property in the U.S., EMEA, Latin America and Asia Pacific (excluding Japan, Korea and China). FME is currently expanding the licensing program worldwide.
