Build-A-Bear, CultureFly Deliver New Subscription Box
The Cubscription Box by Build-A-Bear ships quarterly with an assortment of exclusive products including a uniquely themed 12-inch stuffed bear.

Build-A-Bear and CultureFly have joined forces to create a new seasonal subscription box.

The Cubscription Box by Build-A-Bear ships quarterly with an assortment of exclusive products. Each shipment contains a 12-inch themed bear and six-to-eight items specific to the box. Items include kids’ apparel, accessories and stationery.

“We are thrilled to partner with CultureFly to bring exclusive furry friends and Workshop-inspired coordinating fashions and accessories to more doorsteps with the trend-forward Cubscription Boxes,” says SiSi Beltrán, director, marketing, Build-A-Bear Workshop. “These unique boxes offer our loyal fans and customers a completely new, fun way to enjoy and experience our family-friendly brand.”

Items in the Cubscription Box are made by CultureFly’s in-house product and design teams in limited quantities. The theme for the inaugural box is “Magical Winter.” It will be available this December for $29.99. Those who subscribe to an annual plan will get a free Birthday Box that will be delivered just before the subscriber’s birthday. A quarterly plan is also available.

“This is a new experience that families will love,” says Edward Erani, chief executive officer, CultureFly. “We’re so excited to be working with Build-A-Bear to offer this unique subscription box. Fans are going to love the items we’ve designed, and we can’t wait to see their reactions when they get these exclusive items you can’t find anywhere else.”

The partnership between CultureFly and Build-A-Bear was secured by Build-A-Bear’s licensing agency, Brand Activation Consulting. Customers interested in signing up for the subscription service can do so now at

News of Build-A-Bear’s new subscription boxes follow the announcement of licensing deals for the brand with “Paw Patrol” and “Trolls World Tour.”
