Silvergate Media has announced a new deal with China-based Wanda Kidsland to bring its latest series “Monkey with a Toolbelt” to the world.

Wanda Kidsland is bringing Silvergate Media’s “Monkey with a Toolbelt” to China via TV distribution, tie-in publishing, consumer products and live attractions to establish the property in the region to a whole new fanbase.

This 40 x 11-episode series, aimed at kids aged 3-6, focuses on education through the actions of lead character Chico Bon Bon and his Fix-it Force in the city of Blunderberg.

“It is exciting to be able to build upon and extend our successful partnership with Wanda Kidsland with Monkey with a Tool Belt,” says Ron Allen, executive vice president, commercial, Silvergate Media. “We look forward to bringing this STEM-focused series to screens, Education Centers and retail shelves with the help of the market leader in China and strong advocate for the very best in children’s entertainment.”

Based on the based selling book, this STEM educational platform is an extension of Silvergate and Wanda Kidsland’s partnership, which brought existing property “Octonauts” more than 30 billion views on Web TV in China.
