Goose Island Beer has teamed up with The Chicago White Sox for Sox Golden Ale for the upcoming 2020 season.

Designs for the can are not complete, but early renderings show it to be emblazoned with both the White Sox logo and the Goose Island logo in a black and white design. According to Goose Island Beer, Sox Golden Ale will be released sometime in early March before the start of the 2020 season.

While supplies last, fans who purchase Sox Golden Ale at Guaranteed Rate Field will get a special edition can with a peel-back label showing the 2020 schedule. This version of the can will only be available for a limited time.

Retailers throughout Chicago will also be selling the Sox Golden Ale, and the beer with the special cans will also be available to fans at SoxFest at McCormick Place West Jan. 24 and 25.

This is not the first time Goose Island has ventured into sports territory. For the 2017 season, Goose did a collaboration with the Chicago Cubs called 1060 Wit.
