'Talking Tom' Heads to New Regions

Outfit7 Limited is bringing the “Talking Tom and Friends” franchise to new territories this year including Brazil, India, Malaysia and the Dominican Republic.

In a deal with Empire Gold Land (a first-of-its-kind for the company), a “Talking Tom and Friends”-themed café will open in Malaysia. The branded restaurant will be adorned by the gang of friends, creating an immersive experience for fans. In addition, an assortment of “Talking Tom and Friends” merchandise such as aprons, glasses, plates and other housewares will be available for purchase at the branded gift shop. The restaurant is planned to open this fall.

Fans in Brazil will soon be able to take home a selection of “Talking Tom and Friends” puppets and plush toys thanks to a deal with Novabrink Industria de Plasticos LTDA. 

Meanwhile, in the Dominican Republic, Proindel Dominicana has signed a publishing distribution deal with Outfit7 for a line of “Talking Tom and Friends” notebooks.  

Then later this year, SKI Plastoware will bring an assortment of back-to-school merchandise and assorted products to India. The line will include lunch boxes, water bottles, pencil boxes, mugs and more.
