DHX Media’s Caillou preschool brand is turning 25 next year, and to celebrate, DHX Brands is planning a year-long celebration.

Kicking off the festivities on Facebook is the Caillou Ultimate sweepstakes, which offers fans a chance to win Caillou products.

New Caillou products for the 25th anniversary include videos such as the Caillou Family Favorites DVD (which includes a book) and Caillou’s Holiday Movie, as well as the book Caillou’s 25th Anniversary Treasury Album.

Caillou is also getting a special anniversary talking doll and jet plane toy from Imports Dragon. The products correspond with the Can Do with Caillou campaign, which runs alongside the anniversary.

The Caillou property debuted in 1989 as a series of books from Chouette Publishing. Since then, the brand has gone on to become a No. 1 preschool TV series, which airs on Sprout in the U.S. and airs in more than 100 countries worldwide.
